During the summer of 2003 Beau and I became friends with Malia while working at Camp Merrimac in the North Carolina mountains. If you would have told me that 7 years later we would be photographing her wedding in Knoxville, TN I wouldn't believe you. I'm always amazed at how crazy life can be!
Malia and Tim called us last year to announce their engagement and to ask Beau and I to capture it for them. Everything about their day distinctly reflected them. When I initially asked Malia what she envisioned for her wedding some of the words she used were "meaningful, family-centered, intimate". It was all of that and more!
