Boudoir Maternity Photos
You guys. When Kerry and Heath reached out for their maternity photos my heart was over the moon excited for them! Capturing these sessions for our past wedding couples is always the highlight of our job. We celebrated when they began their journey of marriage and now we’re being asked to capture them in the next step of their journey?! The weight of this request is never lost on me and of course I jumped on it.
Kerry is just the sweetest. After I asked a few questions and offered some ideas, she mentioned that she was ready to push the envelope a little and I knew she would be perfect at capturing some boudoir maternity photos during her session. So we went for it!
Boudoir maternity photos are such fun sessions. Because our boudoir shoots are all about focusing on and capturing the power, grace, and beauty of women the maternity sessions are just taking it to the next level. They are always tasteful and full of movement and form (my favorite things to shoot if you can’t tell). And also, having now experienced the other side of having a baby (see baby Branch and our journey) mommy-hood is definitely the ultimate power move ya’ll (at least that’s what I tell my tired eyes each morning lol)! Your body can do some amazing things before, during and after growing your family.
So I think she killed it and I’m so thankful for clients who trust us and are willing to push their comfort levels. We embraced the foggy afternoon together and truly created some fine art for them to show their sweet baby girl years down the road. Love you Heath and Kerry and thank you again–I can’t wait for your newborn session!
