A Styled Anniversary Photo Shoot:
Anyone who has met Takira and Sidney knows just how full of passion, ambition, adventure, and mutual respect their hearts truly are. Beau and I have loved walking alongside of Takira and Sidney these past 4 years while capturing their engagements, wedding day, their Day After session, Sidney’s career opportunities, and finally their first anniversary photo shoot. Getting to know them through the years, we are honored to call them friends and have loved watching their marriage develop and blossom as they push each other to chase dreams buried deep within their hearts. We can’t wait to catch up with them next month in Los Angeles!
For Takira and Sidney’s first anniversary photo shoot of course we knew we had to go all out. Our DMP styling team wanted to execute a photo shoot that would reflect the next chapter in their lives. From our first wedding meeting at Starbucks in 2013, Takira and Sidney have always expressed a love for adventure and high fashion (I mean they got engaged in Paris for goodness sake!). So we decided to take over a favorite overlook and created an unforgettable anniversary photo shoot to represent this– did they nail it or what?!
After a few consults the month before their shoot, our in-house stylist had a good vision for their session (think James Bond) and went to work sending them periodic updates and options on outfits to make sure it truly reflected them as a couple. We carefully styled, planned and purchased their outfits, hair and makeup, cake design, transportation (hello gorgeous!), champagne, and the location as part of our DMP styling program. This program is one of our newest DMP services by the way! We’re excited to help busy couples celebrate their past and future with incredible photos–all without them having to take on the headache of scheduling, shopping, emailing, and ordering.
