The light smiled down. He dipped his head low and then shifted his gaze back up the aisle and towards the Walnut Hill barn.
Stillness.
Then the door peeked open, another moment passed, and she appeared. Lauren held onto her father’s arm and the sun played in her veil, creating a silhouette of awe as they moved across the lawn towards their friends and family. Brian waited calmly, taking in the richness of the moment. As the shaded aisle opened up he finally saw her perfectly and she was stunning. A cool breeze wrapped around them both, he took her hand and the light smiled down once more.
