A Grandview Fall Wedding
A cool autumn breeze stirred the warming foliage on Lookout Mountain as Betsy slowly glided down the staircase on her father’s arm. I heard a little gasp behind me and knew immediately what it was because I just had the same reaction. She was stunning. Just like at their first chance meeting, Dalton was overcome by seeing Betsy and knew that she was it. She was the one he wanted to say hello to on that fateful day. She was the one he wanted to romance. She was the one he wanted to walk with through life. As she met him at the altar yesterday he wiped his eyes, held her hands and declared his vows. Here’s to many years of those little gasps because, “In the art of marriage the little things are the big things…”.
