A few weeks ago we had the amazing privilege of photographing David and Jenn at Fells Point in Baltimore, MD. We fell in love with the area, so much to see and tons of great restaurants. The museum they chose gave the day a fun modern twist–thanks to the Frederick Douglass-Isaac Myers Maritime Museum and Karl at KMK DJ for their amazing service! And thank you Jenn and David for inviting us to capture your day, you guys rocked it!

The way Erin’s eyes shine when Mark makes her laugh. The wholehearted smile on Mark’s face when Erin walks into a room. Beau and I thoroughly enjoyed watching their day unfold as Erin and Mark committed their futures to one another on February 18th. The wedding went off beautifully at the Marsh Landing Country Club in Ponte Vedra, FL. The entire week before I held my breath (and brainstormed on Pinterest) because of a large chance for rain on Saturday. But on their big day the morning clouds parted and the sun shone in full force as their outdoor ceremony began–lovely!

The love and support that surrounds these two is amazing and we’re so happy for them both. So glad that we had the chance to be a part of it! Warning: Gi-normous post coming your way! Sorry

Tiffany + Jacob

Her smile is contagious and every time she laughed Jacob’s eyes would light up. It was obvious these two are perfect together from the very beginning.

Originally childhood friends in Louisiana, Tiffany and Jacob lost touch when her family moved back to Tennessee as a kid. Now fast forward over a decade and they found themselves suddenly reconnected through Facebook (with a little help from Tiffany’s mom of course!). Jacob and Tiffany immediately picked up where they left off as children and soon fell madly in love–finally tying the knot in a gorgeous Monday wedding on December 19, 2011.
Beau and I had such a good time, their families and friends where incredibly excited and supportive, partying down at the Cleveland Country Club late into the night. It was awesome catching up with amazing past clients Amber and Sam and Sarah and Aaron too!

We love you Tiffany and Jacob and are so excited about your future. Please keep them in your thoughts and prayers as Jacob and many of his friends will soon be joining our troops abroad. Be safe you guys!

Congratulations to all of you newly engaged couples, what an exciting season this is for you! You said yes, now the real fun is about to begin with dresses, venues, flowers and most importantly, your photography. One of the best parts of my job is learning about couple’s love stories. Even after 7 years I admittedly still get goosebumps when talking to happy brides. That’s why I decided that this year we need to have a giveaway!

Send us your romantic (or hilarious!) story about how you became engaged. We want all the juicy details like how you met, when you knew that he/she was ‘the one’ and how the actual proposal happened. Were you expecting it, even a little bit? Did you cry, giggle, yell, dance a little jig or just stare? Give us the lowdown!

By following one another on Pinterest, I knew from the beginning that Lea’s wedding was going to be full of amazing details–and I was not disappointed! Lea and Mitchell love to think outside of the box and it was such a pleasure to capture their big day at the Fillhaur House on December 18th. From her brooch bouquet and gorgeous emerald jewelry to a barn full of floating vintage umbrellas, their day was absolute eye candy for us photogs! Beautiful. Beautiful location, beautiful couple, beautiful wedding!

I adore beach weddings, they are incredibly serene and romantic–not to mention they make for amazing backdrops! Oh and barefoot photography is pretty wonderful too. Erin and Brian tied the knot this past October in lovely St. Augustine, FL (yeah we’ve been a little busy around here–but better late than never!). Juliane and I were thrilled to be a part of their day and Erin thought of every detail (check out their cute signage!). Thank you both for a fabulous day and congratulations again!
